About
A Journey of Healing and Wholing
My life has been a long journey of self-healing and wholing. Learning how to be with myself with compassion and love, how to allow myself to fully be myself, has then developed and expanded my capacity to hold others in their journeys and support them in becoming who they really are too. I’m queer and I’m also late identified as AuDHD (and it’s been a journey all of its own to understand how that has impacted so much of my experience and how I am in the world). My experiences and my neurodivergence have given me the capacity to deeply resonate with and hold with tenderness and compassion clients experiences of trauma and hurt and provide space for healing from this. My practice is both queer and neurodivergent affirming, and I’m committed to meeting you where you are and working with you on what matters to you. You are the expert in your own experience, and also hold within in you everything you need to heal. Even though I understand it may not feel like it. My job is to hold the space and also bring frameworks and expertise to help you reconnect with yourself and your own wisdom and gifts.
IFS has been a wonderful and powerful approach to support this work of building internal connection and resilience and I am now also working both personally and professionally to bring in what seems to me to be the missing piece – our connection with nature and with the web of life. Only when we are connected both internally and externally, feeling our full belonging in the world, can we truly become who we are meant to be.
“Working with Anni has been a pleasure from every perspective both in her graceful and conversational approach and in the unexpectedly productive and enlightening experience that I am having while working with her. I was not familiar with IFS and have found it to be a very helpful approach, especially with such an experienced practitioner. I began working with Anni as part of a larger project and didn't know what to expect or have any clear ideas of areas that I wanted to explore but simply having conversations with Anni seems to always lead to an area of possibility and the exploration has been far more valuable and cathartic than I ever expected.”
