Wilderness Therapeutic Work

I am currently undertaking an advanced wilderness therapeutic group work training, and am planning a  wilderness therapeutic group which will take place in the Hope Valley. Please contact me if you would like to find out more about this.

I will also shortly be offering individual wilderness therapeutic work combining IFS with healing/wholing approaches drawn from this training and from Animas Valley’s work in this area. Contact me if you are interested in this when it becomes available.

Wild Thing

I came to the woods to find my wild eyes

The ones that are other

With bracken for iris and a strange hitch in the step

I came to the woods to BE through my wild eyes

My wild, wild and other eyes

Part animal

Part something else entirely

That's me

I'm not human, so don't expect me to be

Not here, not where my wild soul can finally be free

Where my eyes can look and see from that other place

Where I can be who I truly am

My wild and other self.

The one with teeth

The dangerous one

The tender, dangerous one

The one who knows who she is and is not afraid to be it

The one who knows about death.

And life. And death. And life.

And death.

“Anni is very skilled at being there for me and welcoming all my parts. Her acceptance, curiosity and compassion shine through and have helped me to allow those qualities in myself. ”
